London 2017 Organisers Recognise Athletics Family

Williams decided he had to be part of the IAAF World Championships in Beijing last year. After a 10-hour flight, he found himself watching Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis Hill and Katarina Johnson Thompson on the very first day. “One of the most memorable moments from Beijing was when I watched Greg Rutherford walk down to each section of GB fans and thank them for making the trip. He noticed and acknowledged our effort and instantly it made the trip worthwhile. Having been to several athletics events in the UK, and as a loyal supporter, I’m eligible for the priority purchase window for the World Athletics Championships. I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
