    Theatre from home

Although closed due to Covid-19, that has not stopped a local theatre company from engaging with families from their homes.

Dance choreographer Jennifer Essex formed Fully Booked Theatre, Middlesbrough, in 2017 with poet Harry Man, specialising in performances and theatre for children and families.

Although their summer performances are cancelled due to the current crisis, Jennifer has set challenges online for families to take part in.

The challenges are shared on social media at noon each weekday, and range from spinning dance moves, cheerleading with plastic bags for pom poms and making your own band instruments from jam jars.

Plenty of activities are available to keep the youngsters busy during school closures including dance workshops and a tutorial to make your very own superhero cape.

Further information and links to their social media can be found online here.
