Andrew Place

I am currently a Concept Art Lecturer within the School of Computing, Media and the Arts. I have a particular interest in character design, drawing narrative, storyboarding and illustration.

My background is mainly in freelance work based out of my own studio which i have succesfully ran for 14 years, this has seen me work in various aspects of the creative industry. i have worked with clients from both the private and the commercial sectors, on such areas from comics, advertisng, storyboarding and Illustraton projects.

I studied for my BA, PGCE and MA, at Teesside University, 

i have been in education since 2017 and i have taught at both FE and HE level.
