Ashley Blacklock

I studied at Teesside University for my undergraduate degree in Food and Nutrition, which I was awarded a first classification. During summer I was able to have a placement with Tees Valley Public Health (now obselete) where I was able to gain a broader view of public health and the most prominent health concerns in the local area. 

I worked as a Dietetic Assistant at North Tees and Hartlepool hospitals for 4 years. 

In 2021 I commenced the MSc in Dietetics at Teesside University and completed this with a distinction. I was fortunate enough to have a placement with the research team at the university which I thoroughly enjoyed being part of. I asssisted in the data analysis and final write up of a paper pending publication.
