Academic Biography
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate currently working on an ESRC-funded project, “Diversifying Leadership in Elite Universities: The Development of an Empirically Grounded Recruitment Framework for the Global Higher Education Sector.”
I hold an MA in Adult Education and a PhD in Educational Sciences from Boğaziçi University, Turkey. My previous research has focused on gender and education, contributing to projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality).
My research interests focus on gender and education policy, global governance of education, social justice in education, and critical research methodologies in educational research.
