Caitlin Timlin

Caitlin graduated from University of Sunderland in 2018 with a BA(Hons) Graphic Design.

Following graduation, she joined Teesside University to become part of the Online Learning Designers team, working on the TUOLE project and then contributing to design work on the university’s strategic online learning project, where she works with various schools across the university. Caitlin uses her design skills to develop the online learning courses, as well as to work on other projects within Student Learning and Academic Registry.

Caitlin also writes weekly posts for the LTE blog, as well as working on CreatorLab and a range of other projects across SLAR.

Caitlin has achieved Microsoft Innovator Educator Expert status and the Microsoft Office Specialist in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. In addition, she has also achieved Microsoft Certified Educator status. She is a certified Adobe Creative Educator, Levels 1 and 2, and also an Adobe Certified Associate in InDesign. She is also a Blackboard Certified Practitioner and has delivered training on Blackboard Learn Ultra. 

Caitlin is currently working towards a Masters in Education.
