Academic Biography

I am a lecturer in Environmental Sciences with a specialism in peatland biogeochemistry. My broad interests are based around understanding anthropogenic impacts on the natural environment and finding solutions. More specifically, I have research interests in biogeochemical cycling of peatlands; peatland management and impacts on water quality; peatland restoration; and finding innovative solutions to water quality degradation with multi factor benefits, such as biochar.
