Dr Danial's foray into the scientific realm commenced with a solid educational grounding. He earned his Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the esteemed UET-Lahore in Pakistan, where his early passion for environmental sustainability began to burgeon, laying the cornerstone for a remarkable career.

His doctoral research at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia was centred on the development of carbon-based mixed matrix membranes for the removal of dissolved salts, a critical challenge in water treatment and desalination processes.
