Academic Biography
Daniel's graduation films won Best Fiction and Best Non-Fiction prizes at the Royal Television Society Awards. His next film, FENDER BENDER, won the PRIX U.I.P. for Best European Short Film Award at Tampere Film Festival and was nominated for Best European Short Film at the European Academy Awards. THE MAKING OF PARTS premiered in Competition at Venice Film Festival where he won his second PRIX U.I.P. for Best European Short Film and another European Academy Award Nomination. JADE premiered in Competition at Berlin Film Festival where he won the Silver Bear and was BAFTA Nominated for Best Short Film the following year. Daniel’s work has screened at hundreds of international film festivals and won more than 30 international awards and nominations. Daniel is currently developing several feature film projects.
