Gbemisola Ogbolu

Dr Gbemisola Ogbolu is a Lecturer in Business in the Department of Leadership, Management & Human Resources at Teesside University International Business School. Dr Ogbolu has extensive experience in teaching, research, and industry. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Gbemisola has a PhD in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy from Northumbria University Business School.

Before becoming an academic, Gbemisola spent over 12 years in the industry where she held management positions in different roles such as Business Analyst, Information Technology Specialist, Senior Financial Analyst, and Project Manager. Dr Ogbolu managed over 100 portfolios of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Gbemisola’s research interests cover several fields across Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy- including SMEs, social value, leading and managing change, organisational performance, decision-making process and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
