Academic Biography
Dr Ikram Asghar is working as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at Teesside University. He holds a P.hD. in Computing from Bournemouth University, United Kingdom with a thesis titled "Impact of Assistive Technologies in Supporting People with Dementia".
Before joining Teesside University, Dr. Ikram held various positions at the University of South Wales and Bournemouth University. He also gained experience at the International Islamic University Islamabad and with multinational corporations such as Nokia Siemens Networks and Motorola Solutions.
Summary of Research Interests
His research interests are focused on Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Digital Healthcare, Assistive Technologies and Project Management.
