Academic Biography
Dr Jayne Rodgers gained her PhD in International Communications from the University of Leeds in 2000. Her teaching and research addresses digital technologies and social change and now focuses on the impact of social media and digital marketing. As an academic, she has taught in the UK and Canada and has presented her research at conferences around the world. As an industry specialist, she has helped hundreds of businesses develop digital skills through her work as a trainer and mentor on the Google Digital Garage project.
She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
