Academic Biography
Dr Oddy is an HCPC registered chartered Clinical Psychologist. Following completion of a bachelors degree in Psychology, Jennifer further consolidated her academic skills by completing a Masters degree in Qualitative Psychology and Health.
Following qualification as a Clinical Psychologist in 2014, Jennifer worked primarily in services with children, young people and families. This included CAMHS, learning disability CAMHS, a looked after child service, neurodevelopmental services for both ADHD and autism, and a paediatric neuropsychology service. Jennifer currently works part time as a consultant clinical psychologist and clinical lead in an all-age neurodevelopmental service. Jennifer has also completed further training in paediatric neuropsychology and therapies, including CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion focused therapy, and systemic approaches.
Jennifer was appointed as a senior lecturer on the doctorate in clinical psychology programme in December 2022. This includes working as an academic and PPD tutor, a module leader, and supervising doctoral theses.
