Academic Biography
Dr Kehinde K. Kanmodi is a PhD candidate (DOS: Dr Lawrence A. Nnyanzi), a lecturer (adjunct) at the SHLS, Teesside University, and an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Puthisastra (Cambodia). Kehinde is a multidisciplinary researcher with academic/professional qualifications and expertise in Dentistry, Education, Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, Management, and Public Health.
External Roles and Professional Activities
Kehinde is the Editor-in-Chief of Annals of Public Health Issues (Sciendo [De Gruyter]), an Academic Editor of PLoS One, an Editorial Board Member of BMC Public Health, a Book Editor with Nova Science Publishers (New York, USA), a reviewer to over 20 prestigious peer-reviewed journals, and a book proposal reviewer with Routledge. Also, he is a member of the board of trustees of three non-profit non-governmental public health organizations in Nigeria.

Kehinde has co-authored over 150 researchers from Saudi Arabia, USA, UK, India, Israel, and different countries in Africa (Egypt, Nigeria, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Zambia, Uganda, etc.) in over 200 publications (conference papers, journal papers, books/technical reports, and book chapters). He has collaborated with researchers from multiple institutions including Edo State University, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development in Israel, World Health Organization (WHO) Nigeria, WHO Africa Regional Field Office, University of Rwanda, University of Texas, Makerere University, Harvard University, King Ceasar University, University of Kentucky, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and a host of others.

Summary of Research Interests
Kehinde has research interests in global health, oral health, sexual and reproductive health, SDGs, health workforce development, school health, health policy, food security and protection, infectious diseases, noncommunicable diseases, nanotechnology, biomedicine, and bioinformatics.
Academic Achievements
Kehinde is a recipient of numerous academic awards, including the Longman Plc Award for Best Graduating Students in Nigerian unity schools (2008), Shell Petroleum Development National Merit Scholarship Award (2010 – 2016), Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Foundation Scholarship Award (2013-2016), Certificate of Recognition Award for presenting at the University of Ibadan College of Medicine Research Day (2016), Best Poster Presenter Award at the 2016 Faculty of Dentistry Conference at the University of Ibadan, Certificate of Appreciation from the WHO Africa Regional Director (Dr Matshidiso Moeti) for contribution to Polio Eradication in Nigeria (2021), Global Excellence Award (2021) at Teesside University, and the PhD (Health) studentship Award (full funding: tuition and stipends) at Teesside University (2022 - 2026). Also, for his significant contributions to academic research and public health, Kehinde has received membership awards from numerous health organisations including the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco (2019), and the Multinational Association for the Supportive Care in Cancer (2015 - 2017).
