Graduated from Turkish National Police Academy in 2000. Earned a Master's Degree in International Relations from American University in 2007. Earned PhD in Public Policy from George Mason University in 2012. Worked at Ataturk University as a Lecturer and Global Centre for Security Studies as a Senior Research Fellow.
