Academic Biography

I am a Lecturer in Cybersecurity and Blockchain at the School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies.

I teach on the MSc Cybersecurity and my main research interests are Access Control and Distributed Systems. I am also a Marketing and Recruitment Champion for the Department of Computing and Games. 

I hold a BSc in Cybersecurity and Networks and PGCHE in Learning and Teaching from Teesside University and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I am currently undertaking a PhD in Cybersecurity and Distributed Systems. 

Before joining Teesside University I was a Lecturer at Middlesbrough College teaching on the FdSc and BSc courses in Computing and have been actively involved in Curriculum Development and Projects.
