Academic Biography
Role of course leader within the Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship CMDA, supporting experienced practioners from industry work towards obtaining a BA Honours in Management Practice as well as CMI accreditation to further progress and enhance their own career path. This role involves liaising with industry partners from the public and private sector within the Tees Valley and further afield. As well as leading academic staff and Quality mentors.
Other duties include the role of module lead within the CMDA and other Undergraduate Programmes within the International Business Team. This requires planning, delivery and marking. Dissertation Supervisor for a wide spectrum of students including UG and Master courses.
I endeavour to make contacts and network with local, national and international businesses in order to support students with updates, changes and development. This involves visits to industry and guest speakers visiting the University for interactive talks and discussions.
Passionate to help raise the profile of Middlesbrough, the Tees Valley and beyond as a place for work and investment. Keen to work with SMEs and large organsiations.
