Academic Biography
Manu Ramegowda is a Senior lecture of higher education at Teesside University. Before starting as Senior Lecturer, he has worked as research assistant at Centre for Construction Innovation and Research (CCIR) and Materials Engineer at Oxley Development, Barrow-in-Furnace. Dr. Ramegowda has held the position of Programme Leader for multiple programmes at the Under graduation and Postgraduate level: Foundation Year B Eng. and M Sc Project Management, MSc Project Management with Advanced Practice, MSc International Project Management (Online). He has taught multi-disciplinary module to all level engineering students in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Electrical, Chemical and Project Management. He has extensive working experience with professional body IMechE, Joint Bord of Moderators (JBM) and Association for Project Management (APM). Dr. Ramegowda holds a Ph.D. in the field of Materials Engineering with development of ceramic cores to light alloys. His research interest are in Engineering Materials and Quantative Risk Management ranging from theory to their application. Currently, he is consulting for and supervision PhD research projects in Designing a Novel Framework for High-Risk Oilfield Valuation. He is also a second supervisor for Lightweight of Vehicle Component Parts.
