Academic Biography

Mardin is a doctoral researcher (PhD student) in Energy Engineering at Teesside University. His doctoral research focuses on enhancing CO2 sequestration. In addition to his research, Mardin works as a special (part-time) lecturer and research assistant at the School of Computing, Engineering, and Digital Technologies at Teesside University. He also actively participates in several projects focused on characterising waste materials and utilising them for CO2 sequestration. Mardin holds an MSc degree in Petroleum Engineering with distinction from Teesside University and completed his BSc degree with first-class honors in Petroleum Engineering at Komar University of Science and Technology.
