As a Senior Lecturer at Teesside since 2007 Matt has a specific focus on teaching pre- and post-registration courses for paramedics. In addition he works closely with colleagues from other professional groups to introduce and deliver inter-professional content across the School of Health and Social Care.
Research interests focus on how the public understand and use emergency medical services and paramedics. He is currently undertaking a PhD exploring the use of Emergency Medical Services by patients with back pain.
