Academic Biography
Muhammad Imran Qureshi is a Ph.D. in Operations Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is an enthusiastic academician in operations management and big data analytics. He served as a senior lecturer at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka from 2019 to 2022. He also served at the Malaysian Institute of Industrial Technology (MITEC), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) from 2017 to 2019. He had worked as a lecturer at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Pakistan, from 2007 to 2014.
During his teaching tenure, he had been teaching different modules related to the operations management field at the B.S. and M.S. and PhD. level. These courses were included Project Management, Operations Management, Management of Technology, Big data analytics, Market technology Intelligence, Operations Research, Total Quality Management, Statistical Process Control, Environmental Management, Logistic and Supply Chain Management, Production Management and Operations Research. Besides classroom teaching, He has conducted several workshops on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS and SMART PLS, and qualitative data analysis using NVIVO, Systematic Literature Reviews and Meta-Analysis.
On the research side, his research profile consists of more than 160 research publications in renowned journals with a cumulative impact factor above 100. He has written several impact factor publications with world-renowned publishers like ELSEVIER and SPRINGER in operations management, environmental management, sustainability, and organizational behavior.
He is also a consultant in digital business development and is actively involved in developing local and multinational businesses. He provided business consultancy to many organizations. He is the founding director of CONNECTING ASIA research network.
