I am a Senior Lecturer in Global Supply Chain Management and the Course Leader for the MSc Digital Business program at Teesside University International Business School. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and hold a PhD in Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. With over 15 years of academic and industrial experience, my expertise spans operations management, supply chain innovation, and sustainability management.

My research focuses on the strategic integration of digital transformation, Industry 4.0 technologies, and Big Data within supply chain management and the manufacturing sector. I have published more than 250 research articles in high-impact journals, accumulating over 8,000 citations (h-index: 50). This extensive research output has led to my consecutive ranking among the Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide by Stanford University from 2021 through 2025. Furthermore, I am the author of the landmark book Digital Platforms for Sustainable Business Models, published by Elsevier in 2025.

I have a proven track record of securing and executing a diverse portfolio of externally funded projects. As a Principal Investigator and senior team member, I have successfully managed international grants focused on digital manufacturing ecosystems, human-technology capabilities for green manufacturing, and AI-enabled production systems. Beyond my academic duties, I am the Founding Director of a university spinoff dedicated to fostering international research collaboration and supporting scholarly enterprise. I also hold several high-level editorial roles, including Regional Editor for Foresight Journal (Emerald) and Associate Editor for Frontiers in Sustainability, positioning me at the forefront of digital innovation and sustainable enterprise development.
