Dr Naheed Roni is a lecturer and researcher at Teesside University Business School in the subject group of Accounting and Finance. Her current research area of interests are Fintech and social change, banking, small/micro resources finance, lending risk analysis and entrepreneurship finance.
Naheed completed her PhD and MRes from the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK and a MBA from the University of Wales, UK and has been teaching for several years at the undergraduate, postgraduate and PGR level. Before joining Teesside University, she taught at the Manchester Metropolitan University and University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Naheed received her first degree in Finance and Banking and a Masters in Banking from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is a member of several research interest groups in BAM and BAFA and a Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy. She has also published a number of research articles in academic journals.
Naheed is currently supervising PhD and DBA students and accepting PhD students.
