Academic Biography

Naomi is a Lecturer in Sport, Exercise and Nutrition in the School of Health and Life Sciences. She joined Teesside University in October 2016 as PhD candidate in Exercise and Health following the completion of Master of Science (MSc) in Physical Activity for Health from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to this Naomi completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Health Science (Nutrition) at Flinders University in Australia. Naomi completed her PhD and began her lecturing position in December 2019. 

Naomi is a mixed-methods researcher, with interest in the development, implementation and evaluation of physical activity and nutrition interventions, particularly in community settings such as workplaces and schools.
