Academic Biography

Nathan Skidmore is a PhD student at Teesside University in the School of Health and Life Sciences. His research focuses on the use of virtual reality  to promote health literacy, particularly in individuals with persistent pain. He has contributed to studies exploring the feasibility and acceptability of VR as a tool for improving health education and self-management in healthcare settings alongside wider research evaluating solutions to the burden of persistent pain.
