Academic Biography

Paul graduated from Teesside University with a first class honours degree in Computer Studies.  Paul is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and possesses a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education (PgCLTHE).  Having worked at Teesside University for over 23 years and as part of the Digital Transformation Team since 2006, Paul firmly believes in the use of technology to support and enhance learning and teaching and enjoys working with colleagues to deliver continued improvements in this area.

Paul has presented at numerous conferences and events, including OneAwards Access to HE Forum, Blackboard TLC Europe 2021, Jisc DiGiFest 2020, Jisc Digital Capabilities Community of Practice, the Blackboard UK Users Conference (Durham, UK), the Blackboard Europe Conference (Nice, France) and Teesside University’s own Learning and Teaching Conference/Festival of Learning.
