Mathematics lecturer at Teesside University since 2009 and have also taught Structural Mechanics since 2018 and Principles of Civil Engineering Construction since 2020. Module Leader for four modules and also the Civil Engineering Course Leader for both the HNC & DA programmes. Various positions before joining the University: Business Owner, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveyor. 

Department Disability Coordinator - The Engineering contact for ASN students, whether it is via an initial email, suggestion from an academic for a student to come see me, they use the drop-in service. Essentially then to advise and support the student through the process that ultimately results in a Student Support Plan (SSP).  With the student's permission, the Coordinator ensures that all parties are aware and know their role(s), eg Persoanl Tutor, Course Leader, Module Leader(s), Assessments Team. Sometimes, an individualized Personalized Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) and Risk Assessments need to be designed.
