Dr. Ramiz Ur Rehman is a distinguished academic in Accounting and Finance, with an extensive career spanning over two decades. He is currently serving as a Lecturer at Teesside University International Business School, UK, where he leads various modules and acts as a Personal Tutor for postgraduate students. Prior to this, Dr. Rehman held the position of Program Coordinator for the Bachelor in Accountancy program at Sohar University, Oman, where he also served as an Associate Professor and Research Theme Leader. His leadership at Sohar University was marked by significant contributions to curriculum development and academic quality enhancement.

Dr. Rehman has also played a pivotal role as the Head of Lahore Business School at The University of Lahore, Pakistan. In this capacity, he led the academic direction of the school, overseeing program development and faculty research initiatives. His research work is widely recognized, with numerous publications in top-tier journals like Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Knowledge Management, and many more. His research interests focus on corporate governance, environmental management, and financial performance, areas in which he has secured prestigious research grants, including those from Oman’s Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation.

Beyond his academic achievements, Dr. Rehman served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Finance Research Journal and has been a guest editor for several international journals. His contributions to academia have been acknowledged with awards, including the Eminent Researcher of the Year Award from The University of Lahore.
