Academic Biography
Dr. Sabeen Hussain Bhatti is a Senior Lecturer in Global Supply Chain Management at International Business School in the Leadership, Management and Human Resources department. She is serving as Course leader for MSc International Management (Operations) and module leader of three modules. She is also the sector lead for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering and also leading the EKE group of Innovation Strategy and Delivery.
Sabeen has more than 18 years of experience in industry and academia. She has worked in both public and private sector organizations and managed various telecom and R&D projects as a team lead. She worked as the lead researcher in Smart Integrated Logistics (SIL), a research center focused on supply chain and project management.
Sabeen did her Masters in Engineering Management and received a gold medal from the university. Her PhD is also in Engineering Management where she visited Warwick Business School, University of Warwick UK as a research fellow. Sabeen is certified as a Fellow of Advance Higher Education UK and has served as a member of the Board of Studies (BoS) of three universities. She also worked as a consultant in the Higher Education Commission National Business Education Accreditation Council (HEC-NBEAC) as a part of the faculty outreach program.

- Best Faculty Researcher Award 2021 and 6 letters of appreciation from Rector Bahria University
- Excellence Award in recognition of exemplary performance, two letters of appreciation, and honorariums on several occasions by the Director-General of NESCOM
- Winner of the 2019 Tom Hustad Outstanding Paper Award USA as having made the greatest contribution to innovation theory during the year
- National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) and Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) focal person
- Member of National Testing Services (NTS) Subject Committee for Engineering Management discipline
- Member of Academy of Management and British Academy of Management
- On-job trainings in network planning and systems engineering of sonar systems by Siemens AG and ARS Technologies in Germany
- Gold Medal in MSc. in Engineering Management and Outstanding Student Award in Talented Students Award Ceremony
- Won two scholarships from Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan
- Won a research grant of PKR 6.105 million in 2021 National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) from Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan

Sabeen has done research in multidisciplinary fields of innovation management, digital transformation, sustainability and supply chain management.
