Academic Biography
Dr Sadegh Etemad is a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Lecturer with a PhD in Computer Science in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) from Amirkabir University of Technology, 2023.
Dr Etemad’s research interests span machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, generative AI, and applied machine learning. He has published in leading journals such as Pattern Recognition, Expert Systems with Applications, and Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence. He has also served as a reviewer for top-tier AI journals including Pattern Recognition, Knowledge-Based Systems, Expert Systems with Applications, and Neural Networks.
Alongside his academic career, Dr Etemad has held senior roles in the technology industry, leading teams and developing large-scale data-driven systems with broad real-world applications.
He combines academic expertise with hands-on leadership experience in industry, bridging research and real-world applications of artificial intelligence, big data, and computational modeling.
