Sam Rose is a writer, poet, editor and three-times cancer survivor. In 2017 she passed her Masters in Creative Writing with Distinction and in 2019 began her PhD, researching the role of poetry writing in psycho-oncology self-help applications. As a cancer survivor, she has an interest in cancer survivorship issues around emotional and mental wellness during and after treatment, as well as writing and wellbeing.
Sam has had over 80 poetry and prose pieces published in over 50 magazines, journals and anthologies. She is the editor of Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine and has contributed articles to several cancer and chronic illness websites and blogs.
