Dr Sarah Flanagan is a Lecturer in Business Management at Teesside University Business School and is a Chartered Psychologist. She joined Teesside University in 2014 as a part time lecturer after obtaining her MA in Human Resource Management two years earlier. She then took up a full-time lecturing role in the business school in 2019 after completing her PhD in Psychology at Teesside University. Her PhD explored the emotional impact of career disruptions, gaining a rich insight into the lived experiences of a range of individuals who had experienced various disruptions within their careers.
Sarah’s research interests include adopting rich insights into individual experiences in areas such as emotion and coping, negative career events and stress.
