Academic Biography
Dr Srotoswini Kar obtained her B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from University of Calcutta (India). She received her PhD in chemistry from Georgetown University (USA). She was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Liverpool (UK), and has since worked as a lecturer in chemistry, most recently at the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (China), until finally joining Teesside University in 2023. In addition to having an extensive teaching experience, she has made several noteworthy scholarly contributions, including publications in peer-reviewed journals, and co-authoring chemistry textbooks.
