Learning and Teaching Interests and Activities
I contribute to teaching, knowledge exchange and business engagement in the Allied Health Professions Department and across the wider School of Health & Life Sciences. This includes the design, delivery, assessment and quality assurance of the university’s programs and modules as well as holding module leadership and the role of admissions tutor. I am required to deliver innovative, engaging and effective teaching through a variety of delivery styles including via a virtual learning environment. Other responsibilities include meeting the pastoral needs of students as well as undertaking and supporting research and scholarly activity and engaging external stakeholders. My research interests include nutritional approaches to support weight restoration in the treatment of Anorexia Nervosa and alternative placement models.
