Stephanie joined Teesside University in 2016 as a Senior Lecturer in Women's Health, specialising in Midwifery. Stephanie participates in module design, delivery and evaluation.
Stephanie became a Registered Midwife in 1996 and throughout her NHS career progressed from clinical to managerial roles. Academically Stephanie has obtained a BSc Hons Promoting Practice Effectiveness: Leadership & Management, MSc Service Improvement, MSc Supervision of Midwives and a PgCLTHE to enhance her teaching & learning position.
Currently Stephanie works part-time with Teesside university as she secured a secondment in 2019 with the two North East England Local Maternity Systems (LMS). Stephanie's role as the project lead midwife, a position to infleince and facilitate Maternity Transformation as per national guidance; Better Births. The role enables Stehanie to network and collobrate with providers in the the North East England and nationally.
