Project Details

Description

The aim of the Challenging Youth Racism in the North East project is to develop and deliver a range of interventions to young people across County Durham and the wider North East, with the aim of providing education and support to reduce hate crime and the prevalence of youth racism. The interventions include anti-racism workshops and a peer mentoring programme.

The University's role is to work with the lead partner, Humankind, to provide research information to be used when developing interventions, and to test and monitor project interventions to measure changes in attitudes and values.
