Public event: The first in this series of Baltic x Northumbria University talks.
Screening of a short participatory action film, followed by informal discussion. The film explores and demonstrates the essential aspects of creative education in the development of young people’s imaginative futures.
This event is part of Baltic and Northumbria University’s ongoing inquiry into the decimation of art teaching in primary and secondary education. The film was made with Dr Judy Thomas (Teesside University) and Florence Darling (Gateshead Council) with young people at Baltic and Northumbria University.
