Project Details
Description
Skills England, the national body for workforce skills, recently released a report highlighting key skills gaps affecting UK economic growth. In response, local councils developed Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIPs), which identify digital skills as a priority.
The regional skills-needs shortage presents a significant opportunity for Atomix Educational Trust (A Multi-Academy Trust) to support the growing demand for improved digital literacy and digital skills development within their primary, secondary and sixth form settings but also to extend this within adult and professional education.
This KTP will provide knowledge in digital transformation, change management and digital storytelling to enable the creation of a digital toolkit which will be led from their Prior Pursglove site, Guisborough and disseminated across their other 3 school settings.
The KTP will result in a new suite of education products resulting in £2,095,000 new turnover and £600,433 surplus over 5 years enabling
• Atomix’s access to local authority income, extending the geographical range to other regions.
• partnership development with professional bodies including Chartered Management Institute to create an executive education offering.
• CPD opportunities to disseminate the digital transformation approach across other educational providers.
• expanding the recently sourced “Atomix Cloud School” to include digital training in domestic and international markets.
