Low-Carbon Hydrogen Production from Biomass and Plastic Gasification with CO2 Capture Using Mineral Carbonates and H2 Separation via Membrane Technology

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

It is funded by "Royal Society International Exchange" scheme in collaboration with Aalto University Finland. This research aims to contribute to a low carbon circular economy by developing a sustainable and profitable method for converting plastic and biomass waste into hydrogen fuel. By employing catalytic steam gasification, CO2 capture using mineral carbonates, and membrane-based hydrogen separation, this project seeks to provide a viable alternative to traditional fossil fuels.
