Description

ICAO\R1\231012 - ISPF - International Collaboration Awards 2023.
This project aims to develop an economically sustainable nanotechnology-driven solution to the scarcity of clean and safe water in least developed countries of Africa in order to address problems associated with a lack of clean water and sanitation.

Layman's description

The NanoSolar-PureWater Project (Nanotechnology for Rapid Solar-powered Purification of Water) aims to address water scarcity and pollution by leveraging cutting-edge nanotechnology and solar power. We develop affordable, sustainable water purification systems for effective removal of chemicals and pathogens with a focus on low and middle-income countries (LMICs).
