Project Details

Description

The OptiWare (Optimisation of Port Warehousing Compliance with Non-Intrusive Methods and Generative AI) project proposes an advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) framework, harnessing the power of non-intrusive tracking technologies such as computer vision to revolutionise tracking and management in warehouse environments. By seamlessly integrating these technologies, OptiWare aims to significantly enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and security in managing warehouse goods, particularly in complex and highly regulated settings like freeports.

Our system stands out due to its innovative use of computer vision alongside Large Language Models to monitor and locate packages within a warehouse in real-time. This dual-technology approach ensures a robust and fail-safe tracking mechanism, overcoming the limitations of using either technology in isolation. The integration of computer vision allows for visual verification of goods and their conditions.

A core feature of OptiWare is the employment of a sophisticated Large Language Model (LLM) to generate dynamic notifications based on specific events, such as the unauthorised movement of goods or their exit from designated customs zones. These notifications are not only customizable and context-sensitive but also capable of being disseminated instantly across various platforms, including email, text, and audio alerts, ensuring timely and effective communication. Furthermore, the system can log these events, creating a detailed and auditable record of warehouse activities, which is invaluable for compliance, security, and operational review.

By seamlessly integrating these technologies, OptiWare aims to significantly enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and security in managing warehouse goods, particularly in complex and highly regulated settings like freeports.
A notable feature of OptiWare is its application of an advanced Large Language Model (LLM) to generate dynamic notifications in response to specific events, such as unauthorized movement of goods or their departure from designated customs zones. These notifications are both customizable and context-sensitive, facilitating immediate dissemination across multiple platforms, including email, text messaging, and audio alerts. This capability ensures timely and effective communication. Furthermore, the system meticulously logs these events, producing a comprehensive and auditable record of warehouse activities, which is essential for compliance, security, and operational reviews.
