What is this project doing?


This project will deliver a program consisting of impact-focused activities that will:

• Secure the Fylingdales Archive through Charitable Organisation Incorporation and develop strategy for sustaining the Fylingdales Archive collection into the future.

• Engage visitors to the NYMNP about the history of RAF Fylingdales with specialised signage that connects to the Fylingdales Archive online collection.

• Build knowledge exchange network with regional, national and international cultural heritage partners.

• Raise awareness of Northeast England’s important role in the Space Age and contemporary space operations amongst public and policy communities.
