Project Details
Description
The goal of this study is to investigate the possibility of using a bio-waste-derived, plastic waste-modified bio-binder as a combined rejuvenator and binder replacement for hardened bitumen in aged asphalt mixtures. The project will serve as a feasibility analysis of the use of the bio-binder (rejuvenator), produced from 100% recycled sources, in asphalt pavements containing high Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) contents.
