Reimagining Regional Policy through Creative Engagement

Reimagining Regional Policy through Creative Engagement is an interdisciplinary knowledge exchange initiative designed to advance place-based policymaking through participatory arts and humanities methodologies. In partnership with the Darlington Economic Campus (DEC)— engaging policymakers in reflective, practice-led sessions focused on regional identity, cultural heritage, and inclusive public service innovation. By fostering deeper understanding of local narratives and lived experience, the initiative aims to influence policy design, support evidence-informed governance, and contribute to long-term strategies for socio-economic resilience and community empowerment in the North East.
