Seawater-Compatible Electro-chemical Analysis of Various Materials for Optimised Long-Term Performance

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

The project aims to demonstrate the comparative efficacy of 3 classes of materials, viz. layered double hydroxides, HITP type Metal Organic Framework (MOF) materials, and ZIF type MOFs towards bi-functional operations, and in the presence of seawater. The project team will synthesize, characterize, and test the cell performances under 2 and 3-electrode configurations, using Chrono-Amperometry/ Potentiometry, Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), as part of the investigations.
