Project Details
Description
This study employs thematic analysis and sentiment analysis, to explore the broader impacts of disciplinary and tribunal processes beyond the practitioners and their patients involved; with the goal of including networks from the private and public spheres (e.g. family members and co-workers). The concept of ‘secondary victimisation’ from criminology allows us to explore the previously underexamined research area with a view to establishing a broader programme of work with professional regulators and other stakeholders to promote further reform in the NHS complaint and tribunal system.
