Description

An Interdisciplinary project, Media Project, running 2022, 2023 and 2024 for Level 5 students across 5 subject areas, a new 40 credit module with 100% pass/progression required. This active research project formed the basis of my papers at conferences during 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Layman's description

Bringing common-sense practices from the workplace into common practice in the classroom. Interdisciplinary, collaboration using clear structured learning, with clear building blocks, scheduled formative assessment points to simply otherwise complex modules into valuable learning and teaching experiences.

Key findings

Students respond better to clearly structured modules, with a clear pathway of learning with scheduled formative feedback and self assessment points.
