Description
A project to collect and analysis oral histories collected in the wake of the collapse of SSI (UK) Ltd., and the subsequent closure of the largest blast furnace in the UK. The impact of the closure on the industry, the local economy and the community is recorded through these interviews with local & national politicians, workers and ex-workers, family members and local people.
