Description
The Listening Project is a partnership between BBC Radio 4, BBC local and national radio stations, and the British Library. Since 2012 TLP have been collecting intimate conversations between friends or relatives, to build a unique picture of our lives today. TLP have collected over a thousand so far most of which have been broadcast across BBC radio, while all are archived by the British Library, preserving them for future generations. On January 2015 BBC Radio 4 Producer Marya Burgess visited Teesside University where together with the support of Senior Lecturer in Visualisation & Graphical Applications Justin Greetham, launched an initiative to convert these audio conversations into animations as part of the 1st year module - Animation Pre Production
