The scale up of material evolution technology for net zero emission concrete

MEVOCRETE involves experimental development using existing scientific, technological, business and other relevant knowledge and skills with the aim of developing new or improved products, processes or services. We are building on existing industrial research to investigate how historical industrial by-products from the steel industry can be re-purposed into a cementitious replacement which will improve resource/energy efficiency and rapidly decarbonise these foundation industries.
